During the Second World War the fighting often seemed far away from places like Skipton, but its effects were still felt. Explore what life was like during the 1940s – Attempt to do your shopping (don’t forget your ration book), find out about ARP Wardens, propaganda and more!
This session is designed to meet the specification of the KS2 National Curriculum for History – A study of an aspect or theme in British History that extends pupils’ chronological knowledge beyond 1066.
Important Information:
Suitable for 7 – 11 year olds, If you are bringing younger siblings (under 6), please email cravenmuseum@northyorks.gov.uk so we can check that we have space. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
