Our retail area offers a carefully curated and fun collection of treats and presents, including unique and locally produced crafts, educational gifts, books, homeware, souvenirs and greetings cards. Every purchase supports the Skipton Town Hall cultural hub and our outreach work across Craven.
Shop with us and support small business! Here are a few examples of the contemporary, handmade craft makers we work with.
Sarah Watkins is an illustrator and designer based on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. Her friendly and colourful designs are inspired by the places she has visited. She prints her designs on a range of materials, from fabrics to prints, cards and gift wares.
Ark Colour Design
Ark Colour Design is based in Cambridge and specialises in fun, affordable and unique embossed gifts. The leather products are made by a family run manufacturer in Scotland and every piece is hand finished making each one unique.
Red Paper House
Red Paper House is a Leeds based jewellery and accessory company created by Amy Hall. The unique geometric pieces are hand drawn and then laser cut before being hand painted with designs and colours inspired by elements of nature.
All of the packaging we use is recycleable, and much of it is made with recycled materials. We strive to source products from makers who give consideration to sustainability in their production and packaging practices.
Support your Cultural Hub
By shopping with us you are directly supporting our programme of cultural and heritage events, and our outreach work accross the district. This enables us to offer free and subsidised events, performances and exhibitions, and to keep entry to Craven Museum free!
