The Warlock Effect centres around Ludvik Weinschenk, a boy who fled to England from Nazi Germany with only a pack of cards and three tricks to his name. Twelve years later, Ludvik has become the most famous magician in Britain.
His talent for deception then attracts the attention of the British Secret Service, so get ready Ludvik is thrown into the perilous world of espionage as he is sent across Europe with a dangerous mission to fulfil.
In this feat of storytelling you will be drawn into walking alongside Ludvik in his new journey where he must use every trick in his book to overcome many challenges – or face dangerous consequences for both him and his country.
Artist Bio: Jeremy Dyson and Andy Nyman are award-winning writers, and have previously worked together on projects such as Killing Eve and the acclaimed play and film Ghost Stories which has thrived in three west end runs before they adapted it into a film in 2017. In this event, Jeremy and Andy will bring to life their newest book ‘The Warlock Effect’ that was recognised by The Times as a ‘Best Thrillers for April 2023’.
