Miss Nobodies – Lancashire women; feisty, fierce… and never forgotten. Storytelling with sketches, songs and poetry that will have you laughing, crying and singing. 

Meet a host of miraculous women in the setting of a shop in a small Lancashire town, as Ruth and Keith take you on a hilarious journey through the lives of the women that have played an important role in this shop’s history. 

You will see how the lives of women have changed from 1919 to present day. These heart-warming stories of social responsibility, local pride and female solidarity will have you wondering what the world will look like for women in the next 100 years.

Artist Bio: Ruth Cockburn, the writer of Miss Nobodies, is a writer, poet, artist and academic from Blackpool. Ruth has appeared on prestigious stages such as Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, The National Theatre and The Royal Exchange Theatre. For Miss Nobodies, she returns to her Lancashire roots to create an exciting show that’s inspired by fierce Lancashire women.
