Yarndale: Yorkshire Day Woolly Workshop
Tues 1st Aug 1.30pm - 3pm
Celebrating the textiles heritage of Skipton come and join us at these woolly workshops to make and create. No experience necessary, everyone is welcome as we use simple knitting and crochet techniques to make a bunting display to welcome visitors to Yarndale in September.
Yarndale, the festival of yarn and woolly creativity celebrates the brilliance of wool in all its forms and is held over the last weekend of September at Skipton Auction Mart. Each year, we welcome visitors from across the country and around the world. Join us in these sessions to share skills with our local community to create this year’s woolly display for Skipton.

Skipton Now Festival is a celebration of the substantial investment being made into Skipton’s rich heritage and cultural activities.
This month-long festival is a chance for the local community and visitors to Skipton to experience the amazing projects being delivered across our town as well as discovering more about the history of the Skipton and how it is being preserved for future generations.

Celebrating the brilliance of yarn in all its forms, our award-winning festival brings together over 180 makers, craft workers, retailers, and artisans in the picturesque market town of Skipton, North Yorkshire.
Keen to encourage and inspire creativity in everyone, we work with an extensive mix of enthusiastic exhibitors, tutors and speakers to showcase the pleasure of making and the beautiful yarns, threads and textiles on offer.
