Discover the fascinating life of swifts: the ‘screaming devil birds’ which are the sound of summer, bringing our skies to life in towns and cities.
We are so lucky that swifts travel all the way from Africa each year to return to Skipton just for the summer months. But they need our help! Find out why they are in decline, and what we can do to help protect this special bird. Then, get arty with a hands-on activity, decorating your own swift with your own patterns, realistic markings or messages.
