Fenella Humphreys, winner of the 2023 BBC Music Magazine Premiere Recording Award, is acclaimed for her captivating violin performances. Renowned for her versatility, she excels in solo and chamber music performance, premieres new works, and regularly features on major classical music radio stations. Her recent Sibelius album received widespread praise for its depth and technical brilliance.
Martin Roscoe is a beloved UK pianist with over 50 years’ experience, excelling in concerto, chamber music and solo recital performances. As artistic director of a number of major festivals, he has performed over 100 concertos worldwide, collaborated with leading orchestras and conductors, and made over 600 broadcasts, earning critical acclaim for his versatile, thoughtful musicianship. It is a particular pleasure to welcome Martin to Skipton Music, following his cancelled performance during the pandemic.

About Skipton Music
Bringing world-class music to the Yorkshire Dales since 1947, Skipton Music is a not-for-profit charity run by a small group of local volunteers. Each year between September and March they host six public concerts at Skipton Town Hall together with a free afternoon concert for local primary schools.
