Sale of season tickets has now ended, please visit the individual concerts advertised to book tickets.

Bringing world-class music to the Yorkshire Dales since 1947, Skipton Music is a not-for-profit charity run by a small team of local volunteers. Each year between October and March they host six public concerts at Skipton Town Hall together with a free afternoon event for local primary schools.

This season they’re celebrating their 75th anniversary and, to mark this momentous occasion, they’ve organised a special themed concert series showcasing the works of over 30 different women composers, including Hildegard von Bingen, Barbara Strozzi, Clara Schumann, Fanny Mendelssohn, Florence Price, Elizabeth Maconchy, Nina Simone and Joni Mitchell.

Season tickets are exceptionally good value, offering all six concerts for the price of approximately four single tickets.

To make what they do accessible for young people in our community, Skipton Music also have generous further discounts for under 30s. (Please note that under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.)

All season ticket holders are guaranteed the same seat for each event.

For more information about their artists and the music they will be performing, see Skipton Music’s own website here. Before purchasing your season ticket, please make sure that you have read and understood the Skipton Music terms and conditions available here.

Come and join Skipton Music for this very special concert season: listen to top-class artists performing wonderful music, enjoy an interval drink with friends old and new, and help them to celebrate an incredible 75 years of local volunteering!
