Pride in North Yorkshire
until 31st August
This exhibition shares the stories of two LGBTQ+ people who live in North Yorkshire. In their own words, they talk about their lives and what it is like to be trans and genderfluid in North Yorkshire today.
Their experiences show how people can live in the same place in different ways. They also show why acceptance, safety and community are important.
Alongside these accounts are photographs and placards from previous Skipton Pride celebrations.
This exhibition takes place alongside Skipton Pride on 8th August, and celebrates LGBTQ+ lives and communities in Craven and North Yorkshire.
