Pinsuti Chamber Choir - Visions of Flight

Pinsuti Chamber Choir returns to Skipton Town Hall for a programme of 20th and 21st century a cappella choral music on the theme of birds, flight and fire:
– Christopher Tin’s The Lost Birds, a soulful musical elegy using texts from poets including Emily Dickinson and Christina Rossetti
– Laurisden’s Madrigali: Six Fire Songs on Italian Renaissance Poems
– Whitacre’s exciting Leonardo Dreams of his Flying Machine
– And some light popular pieces to complement a summer’s evening.
Pinsuti Chamber Choir is a well-regarded amateur choir of 30 singers, based in the Ilkley and Skipton areas.
