Pinsuti Chamber Choir: Silence and Music
Directed by Robert Webb
Pinsuti Chamber Choir make their debut performance at Skipton Town Hall with an inspiring evening of atmospheric music, including the ethereal Allegri Miserere and a festival of Vaughan Williams’ music.
This will include Vaughan Williams’ haunting Mass in G Minor, his impressionistic Three Shakespeare Songs – colourful settings of text from The Tempest and A Midsummer Night’s Dream – and his celebration of English country life: Five English Folk Songs.
Pinsuti Chamber Choir was founded in 1997 and is a group of 24 local singers, directed by Robert Webb. We share a love of singing unaccompanied music from the 16th century to the present day, both sacred and secular. We have been delighting audiences in Skipton for many years and are thrilled to be singing in the fabulous acoustic offered by the Town Hall!
