Half Term Art Club: Dark Skies Festival
Mon 12th February 2024 10am & 2pm
This Half Term Art Club will be inspired by The Yorkshire Dark Skies Festival.
Working on watercolour paper and using the ‘wet on wet’ method, we’ll create some beautiful landscape paintings of Yorkshires Dales night sky featuring the northern lights
We’ll also spend some time looking at the work of the Artist Ted Harrison and allow his work to influence our paintings.
- Art Club is aimed at young people aged 10-18yrs.
- There will be two sessions 10am – 12pm (FULLY BOOKED) & 2pm – 4pm.
- Sessions take place in our fantastic, new Education Room.
- There are 15 places per session.
We will be celebrating the Yorkshire Dales & North York Moors Dark Skies Festival this February Half Term holiday!
The festival is a celebration of dark skies around National Parks and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is a great opportunity to explore the wonders of the night sky. We will have a range of engaging of school holiday events for you to enjoy.
