Skipton’s Easter Egg Hunt Goes High-Tech with Dogs’ Dales!

Skipton Youth Council and Kettu Studios teamed up to bring an exciting, interactive twist to this year’s Easter celebrations! The Dogs’ Dales AR Trail App is getting a festive makeover, for all April transforming into a FREE augmented reality Easter egg hunt that blends technology with tradition for a unique family-friendly experience in Skipton. Especially on April 3rd to April 6th, go search for the beloved Dogs’ Dales characters, and enjoy their special Easter-themed look, complete with bunny ears, festive decorations, and even take pictures and dance with the dogs!

Players between 3rd to 6th April who find all the dogs and answer their questions correctly can claim a special Easter prize: an interactive Dogs’ Dales postcard and a chocolate Easter egg, available at the participating locations revealed in the app.

This initiative, created by Skipton Youth Council, aims to promote community engagement and raise awareness about the Youth Council’s work, while also bringing an accessible, fun, and innovative event to locals and visitors alike. A special question will be placed at in the game helping to inform players about the youth council and its role in Skipton Bellevue Square.

The Easter egg hunt is an annual event, ensuring that for years to come, Skipton remains a hub for interactive creative digital community events.

This project is proudly supported by local organisations, including NYC Locality Budget from Councillor Andy Solloway, North Yorkshire Creative and Cultural Communities Development, Skipton Youth Council, Peel X, and Kettu Studios. Skipton Youth Council will be promoting the event at the Skipton Easter Markets on April
4th.
