Skipton Choral Society and York Railway Institute Band presents

Christmas Celebration - Voices and Brass

£15 | Under 18s Free

Skipton Choral Society and York Railway Institute Band join forces once again to provide an extravaganza of carols and music for Christmas!

A new arrangement of Ralph Vaughan Williams’ Fantasia on Christmas Carols for brass band and voices provides the centrepiece of the programme, which will also include newly arranged movements from Handel’s Messiah and favourite Christmas carols. David Lancaster has York Railway Institute Band firing on all cylinders after a stunning concert in Selby Abbey with York Chapter House Choir, and Robert Webb has Skipton Choral Society in fine voice following their recent concert at Bolton Abbey in May. If soaring descants and that brass band sparkle is what you’re looking for this Christmas, be sure to book early as the last concert between these two groups in December 2022 was sold out.
