Being Present with Art
Wed 16th April 2025 7:00pm
Stop. Take some time to just be with yourself and with artwork.
Whether you have an affinity with art, a desire to pause for a while or fancy trying something different, there is benefit to be gained in ‘just being and ‘being present’. This interactive, guided session, led by breathwork coach and clinical hypnotherapist Amy Brown, is an opportunity to slow down and connect to yourself and the world beyond you. In this session, you will practice being mindful by utilising meditative practice, gentle breathwork protocols surrounded by the beautiful artwork in our current exhibition ‘Take your time’. The exhibition focusses on the benefits of mindfulness in our every day lives and how we can practice slow looking through art.
Being Present with Art is aimed at adults – previous meditation experience or art knowledge is not required.
What you will need to bring.
Please wear comfy clothes and bring along a blanket / cushion (optional) and a notebook and pen.
