Art Club: Roses & Castles Canal Art

Roses & Castles is the painting technique that has been used to decorate narrowboats from the 19th Century onwards. Come along and have a go designing and painting your own sign using this most traditional Yorkshire method.
- Art Club is aimed at young people aged 10-18yrs.
- There will be two sessions 10am – 12pm & 2pm – 4pm.
- Sessions take place in our lovely new Education Room.
- There are 15 places per session.

Art Club is designed for 10-18 year olds who love to create and express themselves through art. weekly in school holidays we explore different techniques and mediums to help you develop your skills and unleash your creativity.

This is how we try to make Skipton Town Hall accessible for all families –

- Baby changing facilities in the women’s toilets in the main foyer
- All gender baby changing facilities in the toilets by the stage door (please ask)
- All areas of the building are accessible with a pushchair
- We have plenty of space to park your pushchair
- Free family friendly museum & gallery with lots of fun interactive elements
- Free family museum trails
- Family events & activities programme – some events are free entry
- Children under 2yrs can attend our ticketed events for free if they are sat on a lap.
- Free sensory bags available to borrow – includes ear defenders, fidget toys and finger puppets

- Pocket money toys available in our shop
