Art Club: Rag Rugs

The Town Hall will be marking the 80th Anniversary of VE Day with our exhibition; Design for War: The graphic power of Second World War Posters.

Art Club have been thinking about the crafts born out of war time need for rationing and ‘making do’, and have settled on a Rag Rug project. Come along and learn the skills needed to design and make your own mini Rag Rug wall hanging from recycled fabrics.

All materials provided.

Art Club is aimed at young people aged 10-18yrs.

Duration:

10am - 12pm & 1:30pm - 3:30pm.

Important Information:

Please note that our afternoon sessions will be starting at its new time of 1:30pm -3:30pm.
