Don’t miss live theatre in Skipton! PIECE OF WORK features a captivating mix of comedy, music and story, (as well as Shakespeare’s Hamlet), this show follows James Rowland’s critically acclaimed, sell out shows Learning to Fly and Songs of Friendship trilogy.

James has been touring his storytelling theatre shows for half his adult life. This tour was different though. Returning home after his first stint away, he received a letter that ex-ploded his life, and the tour became a search: for the person who sent it, for a sense of where he comes from, and to maybe save a life.

Hilarious and heart rending, PIECE OF WORK is about the hope that makes our lives liveable.

One tries not to write that the Master Storyteller is back, but the Master Storyteller is back!… He has an innate ability to hold an audience…beautifully told, ringing with authenticity. ★★★★★ Britishtheatre.com
