Arts Award

Arts Award is a range of recognised qualifications awarded by Trinity College London which support children and young people to grow as artists and arts leaders. Read on for details about Arts Award opportunities at Skipton Town Hall.

Age 5-9

Arts Award Discover

Arts Award Discover is the introductory level for Arts Award aimed at young people aged 5 to 9, but open to anyone between the ages of 5 and 25. In this award, participants take part in arts activities and identify different types of art, find out about an artist or craftsperson and share what they have learned and experienced.

Skipton Town Hall now offers a self-led Arts Award Discover which you can complete while exploring Craven Museum! Visit us any time the museum is open, purchase a booklet and borrow an Arts Award Discover bag to complete the award. We recommend at least an hour to finish the full booklet.

Please note, young children will require adult supervision and support whilst taking part.

Successful participants will receive a certificate from Trinity College London through the post.
