Craven Music Match 2023
Craven Music Match offers opportunities and support for emerging artists, musicians, producers and composers in Craven. This includes advice sessions, collaboration and performance opportunities.
Craven Music Match (CMM) will connect musicians from the area to build a supportive, diverse and open network spanning different genres, which can exchange knowledge and skills and be part of the growing live music scene in Skipton and the Craven area.
We want to support those who are in the beginning stages of their careers and who would benefit from: professional mentoring and workshops; opportunities to develop their regional audience; collaboration with other local artists.
Six artists will each be awarded a grant and put into pairs to collaborate on at least one piece of music together, before taking part in a professional music video shoot within Skipton.
Through the project they will gain attention from local and regional press and be put forward for live opportunities.
They will be given access to heritage sites in Skipton to work on their collaborations, and will be given the opportunity to perform at paid showcases alongside well established artists in the newly renovated Town Hall later in the year.

If you answered yes to all four questions then you are eligible to take part in Craven Music Match.
What is it?
Craven Music Match will bring together 6 artists to collaborate with each other on a new music video, as well as offering mentoring from music industry professionals and live opportunities.
