Adam and Dik are men. Are they manly? Are they manly men? Are they, perhaps, not manly enough? Using potato crisps, puppets, dead bodies and action men, they take us into the beating heart of the modern male and attempt to answer the burning question: what maketh a man? Nature or nurture? Mind or body? Cheese ‘n Onion or Prawn Cocktail?

‘Big Boys Don’t Cry’, the new show from the makers of Coulrophobia, an “endlessly watchable, sublimely entertaining double act” (Total Theatre), is an emotional and comic story about manhood. Find laughter, tears, love and even more love in a personal and honest show that looks inside the dark bag of a real man’s story in a euphoric explosion of colour, dance, clowns and puppets.

“a bold, brilliant and hysterical production which pulls no punches.” Bristol 24/7
